Vol.1 is the first set of dance conceptual short films, conceived and directed by award-winning multidisciplinary artist Damilola 'DK' Fashola.
Storytelling through dance, physical theatre and poetry.
Premiering 'On Demand' through EdFringe 2021’s Summerhall Festival Fringe, supported by The Eclipse Award.

The suspenseful bump plays on our childlike fears, juxtaposing abstract movement with sensuality, and the haunted. A pair of innocences embrace the darkside only to realise maybe it’s been inside all along. Exploring the alluring poison of our hidden and sometimes disturbing desires.
The darkness takes over, this reflection... is alluring.
The surrealist take on creative block for a tortured artist plays out in Thorns for a Crown; “a Black body provokes insanity beckoning the genius spirit to visit him” - the only piece featuring a male lead played by Luke Wilson (Scottsboro Boys, Ghost The Musical).
